Eternal Life

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23 NKJV

If death is imminent because of my sinful nature, then to escape death toward life is only possible with Jesus Christ. Therefore, I must realize that my pursuit of life is futile unless I render my life for Christ's sake. The Apostle Paul restates this concept in Philippians 1:21, For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. In other words, while I am alive, I am all about Christ as His change Agent. When I am dead, then I am His prize. How can I lose because He removed the penalty of sin in exchange for eternal life only when I submit to Him? So then, my transition from this life to the next life is a faultless process that emulates Jesus' resurrection and ascension.

Beyond the Otherside

I present the same Biblical truth on this website from a different perspective. Although God’s word remains unchanged, our experiences can provide new viewpoints. Therefore, I intend to develop a series of eBooks to share my reflections with you. I have held two careers: 33 years in the Army Reserves, reaching the rank of Colonel, and 43 years in higher education as an administrator. Due to my various leadership roles, I possess a broad range of experience working with Soldiers and students of all ages. I have observed numerous incidents that I have valued over the years. Now, I am applying those experiences to Kingdom work at the OLM School of Ministry as an instructor and administrator.
